2023 Marching Intent/Information

Dear current and future Wildcat Band members:

Believe it or not, it's time to start rolling with the 2023-24 competition marching band!

Following two incredibly successful seasons, we are ready to begin building another championship marching ensemble. This year, we will continue to "rebuild" by renewing the invitation process to become a member of the ensemble.

This should not be intimidating, because it will ensure that you will not be put into a show or situation that you are not ready to handle. With that said, with great work ethic and a willingness to learn, almost everyone CAN receive an invitation to become a competition band member.

Ask any current marching member- this activity requires dedication and work, but it is an AMAZING feeling to perform with this ensemble, and you will never forget it!

Our first scheduled practice will be Wednesday, January 25 from 4:00-6:00. I know this is late notice, however I will be out with shoulder surgery in February, and I wanted to be sure to get things rolling. If you are NOT able to attend, simply let me know, but please try to do your best.

Intent form: Please fill out this form if you would like to participate in the 2023-24 edition of the LNHS Competition Band. This is the source from which you will receive communications, get info on upcoming practice, etc. It is not binding at this time, but it is necessary that we know who all likely members are.
