Camp Wrap Up

Students, parents, and staff- thank you so much for a highly productive camp! I'm thrilled at the progress, and can't wait to start adding the storyline, bells/whistles, etc.

Big "mea culpa". My notes got out of order yesterday at our preview show, and I didn't recognize Jordan McCray, our percussion guru. Such a talented professional and great with our kids! (I'm so sorry!)

**Please note: "Remind" is how we communicate quickly with parents and students in case of emergency, and en-route travel notifications when the students are away. Each member and each parent should be registered. I promise that this won't be abused, and you will rarely receive messages, but when you do- they are important.

Reminders: Friday, 8/26: Away game at N. Iredell. UNIFORM PICTURES BEING TAKEN BEGINNING AT 3:00 for all members except Seniors. Please try to get here early. Regular Tuesday/Thursday practices begin the first week of school. 3:45-6:00.

99 Pledges fundraiser!

Folks- selling Christmas ornaments door-to-door is hard and not very profitable. This is EASY! Everyone should have received a link yesterday for your student- send it out to EVERYONE in your social media, and you're done. If each student gets as little as $200 in donations...we raise $18,000! (Please do this today!)

Video of yesterday's performance will be shared via email AND posted on the Facebook page "The Lake Norman High School Band" shortly in case you weren't able to attend yesterday.

Finally- any students that may be available to help me prep the band room and reorganize on Monday, I would GREATLY appreciate your help from 10:00-1:00. Thanks in advance.
